About Coverlay® & Our Products

Q: What is a Combo Discount and how do I get one?

We offer a 10% discount on certain part combinations. If you purchase all parts available in the same color for a certain year, make, and model, you may qualify. Click on the Combo Kit Tab at the top right to search for combos for your vehicle. Call 1-800-633-7090 for more information.

Q: How do I place an order?

You can order online through the shopping cart, by phone at 1-800-633-7090 or by printing your completed shopping cart order and mailing it to Coverlay MFG, INC., 4017 Hwy 67 N., San Angelo, TX 76905 or faxing it to us at 325-658-8885. Please provide contact information when sending us a printout of your shopping cart order.

NO COD ORDERS ARE ACCEPTED. ORDERS PAID BY CHECK WILL NOT SHIP UNTIL THE CHECK HAS BEEN PROCESSED. ALL PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Q: Are the dash covers full dash replacements?

No, these are covers that you place on top of your original dash. They are a new skin for your original dash.

Q: Do I have to remove my dash to install a Coverlay dash cover?

No, you do not need to remove anything. You just clean the surface of your original dash then lay over top of your damaged dash the Coverlay dash cover. Most owners can install a Coverlay dash cover in 30 minutes or less.

Q: What do I use to attach the dash cover to my original dash? Do you supply this with the product?

We use an RTV clear silicone adhesive, that you apply to the underside of the dash cover. Yes, we will supply you with the adhesive and a set of instructions.

Q: How do I clean my Coverlay?

Wipe down your Coverlay with an ammonia based cleaner such as Windex and a soft rag or use a mixture of mild soap and water. DO NOT USE ARMOR ALL TYPE PRODUCTS as they may soften the plastic and cause warping.

Q: Are the door panels a cover or a replacement?

The door panels are full replacements. Most of our door panels come with all installation hardware, weather stripping, and padded armrest. Check the application information to verify.

Q: Are the door panels sold as a set or can they be bought individually?

All of our door panels are sold as a set and cannot be bought individually.

Q: What colors do you offer?

We have 15 different generic colors to choose from. We CANNOT guarantee an exact color match. Look for our color chart in the Gallery.

Q: How can I get an exact color match if the generic color is not close enough?

Find an automotive paint store in your local area and request a spray can of automotive vinyl spray mixed to your specific color code. The paint store personnel can help you find the color code for your vehicle. You can then repaint the Coverlay dash cover or door panel.

Q: How does the limited lifetime warranty work and what are the details?

Coverlay Manufacturing, Inc. warranties all of its products to be free of defects in workmanship and material. It further warranties that when properly installed our dash covers will not warp or crack for the life of the vehicle. Uninstalled products reported defective after 30 days of receipt will not be covered under warranty. Color is not covered under warranty and photos may be required to determine warranty issues. If a product failure occurs, Coverlay Manufacturing, Inc. will replace the defective product in the original color ordered. Cost of shipping replacement parts is not covered.

We manufacture and ship all products from San Angelo, Texas.

Q: How long have you been in business?

We have been manufacturing replacement door panels and dash covers for over 30 years. All of our products are made in the USA.


Orders & Returns

Q: How fast is my order processed?

Under normal circumstances, orders are processed the same day if received by 4:00pm CST, Monday through Friday. Orders received after 4:00pm will be processed the following business day. All orders placed Saturday or Sunday will be processed on Monday, with the exception of holidays.

Q: When will my order ship?

Your order will ship two business days from the day it is processed.

Q: What shipping options are available?

All shipments are sent by the ground service of our choice. All orders must ship to physical addresses. WE WILL NOT SHIP TO PO BOXES. While we do offer express service, you will need to contact us before ordering to get a shipping quote.

Q: How will you ship my order?

We ship primarily through FedEx, however, some shipments outside of the Continental US may be shipped by US MAIL. Coverlay reserves the option to choose the best carrier available at the time of shipment.

Q: Do you ship outside of the USA?

We do ship to countries outside the United States. However, shipments outside the Continental US cannot be ordered through our website. Q: Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

We do ship to Alaska & Hawaii. However, shipments to Alaska & Hawaii cannot be ordered through our website. Contact us by phone for a shipping quote and order placement at 1-800-633-7090. Our team is available Monday through Friday 8am – 4:30pm Central Time or use our online contact form.

Q: Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?

We apologize but we are unable to ship to APO/FPO through our website as acceptance to this type of address varies. If you would like to place an order and ship it to an APO/FPO address, we recommend that you contact us by phone for delivery verification and order placement at 1-800-633-7090. Our team is available Monday through Friday 8am – 4:30pm Central Time or use our online contact.

Q: Do you ship to Canada and US Territories?

Yes, however, shipments outside the Continental US cannot be ordered through our website. Contact us by phone for a shipping quote and order placement at 1-800-633-7090. Our team is available Monday through Friday 8am – 4:30pm Central Time or use our online contact form.

Q: When will I receive my order?

Orders ship directly from our warehouse in San Angelo, TX. Standard ground shipments will take 1-6 business days to arrive from date of shipment, depending on which continental state you ship to (a business day is a non-holiday weekday, weekends are not counted). Please allow extra time when shipping to remote rural areas and during peak holidays. Please contact customer service if you do not received your order within 10 business days.

Q: Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes. You can choose 3-Day, 2-Day or Next Day service for an additional charge. However, expedited shipments cannot be ordered through our website. Contact us by phone for a shipping quote and order placement at 1-800-633-7090. Our team is available Monday through Friday 8am – 4:30pm Central Time or use our online contact form. The expedited shipping duration does not include the time to process your order.

Q: Can I have my order sent to more than one address?

Each order can be sent to only one address. If you are purchasing several items to be shipped to different addresses, you'll need to place a separate order for each different shipping address.

Q: What could cause a shipping delay?

Wrong address or zip code used for the shipping address.

When the shipping company can't deliver your package and they send the packages back to us, we will contact you via email or phone for correct address information.

Unforeseen circumstances at our business.

Q: Delays by shipping companies

Your shipment could be temporarily lost or misplaced by the shipping company. If the delay is deemed unreasonable, we will ship you a replacement order. If the original package does show, it is your responsibility to help get that package back to us. If the package is not returned in a reasonable amount of time, you will be charged for it, plus the shipping cost.

Q: Delays during holiday seasons

Shipping companies often do not guarantee any shipment a couple of weeks before Christmas. Please allow extra time for deliveries during this time. You can also contact us for expedited shipping options.

Q: Undeliverable packages (orders returned to us)

Packages that are returned to us by the U.S. Postal Service or UPS and marked as "Unclaimed", "Return to Sender", "Attempted Unknown", "Refused", or "Invalid Street Address", will be credited back to the customer's credit card on file, less the shipping and handling fees and a 15% restocking fee.

Q: Billing address information is inconsistent with what is on the credit card record

To protect our customers against credit card fraud, we will call, email or use other ways to verify that the credit card holder authorized the purchase. The billing address MUST MATCH the records at the card issuing bank or we will not accept the order.

Q: How do I return a product?

When you receive your Coverlay Manufacturing, Inc. shipment you should inspect it immediately for damage and correct part number/color. All claims must be filed within 48 hours of receipt of shipment. If a product arrives damaged, we will replace the product in the original color ordered. If a product is left out of an order or a part received is different from the part documented on the original order, Coverlay will exchange the part at no cost.

Furthermore, if a direct retail purchaser of any Coverlay Manufacturing, Inc. product is not totally satisfied with his or her purchase they may return it within 30 days of purchase with copy of receipt for a full product refund. Products returned within 30 days must be shipped back in original packaging, freight prepaid by purchaser and be received within 30 days of return authorization date. Returns from a Coverlay Dealer must be within 30 days of purchase and will automatically incur a 15% restock fee. All returns must be received in restock condition.

Color match is not guaranteed.

Prior to return of any product, you must call 1-800-633-7090 for a return authorization number. Product received without a return authorization will not be credited.

Q: Restocking Fee

Returns may be subject to a 15% Restocking Fee.

Privacy Policy

Q: Communications

If you select during the order process or at other times when you submit personally identifiable information, the information you provide may be used by Coverlay to create and deliver to you our newsletters, surveys or other communications containing product information. If you prefer not to receive such Communications, please do not select the ‘Please inform me option’. If you do select this option and later decide that you would no longer like to receive these communications, please use the features made available to you.

Q: Brochure Mailing List

If you have requested a Coverlay brochure, all information is kept completely confidential and is not shared with any third parties. We may, on occasion, send you an updated catalog or brochure. If you do not wish to receive any mail from Coverlay, please contact us via email at coverlay@gmail.com. Include your name and mailing address and email address. You will be removed from any future mailings.

Q: Communications to Serve You

If you have elected to provide us with your contact information, e.g., by registering at the Site, emailing our Customer Service department or placing an order, we may provide you with service related announcements concerning the Site or contact you regarding your customer service requests or your order. For example, all registered users will receive an email to confirm their order. These types of communications are necessary to serve you, respond to your concerns and to provide the high level of customer service that Coverlay offers its customers.

Coverlay takes great pride in having you as a customer and we will ensure your privacy as a customer. Coverlay does not sell or exchange names or any other information about our customers with third parties.

We may disclose any information, including personally identifiable information, we deem necessary, in our sole discretion, to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request. We may also exchange information, including personally identifiable information, with other companies and organizations for credit fraud protection and risk reduction.

Coverlay seeks to protect the security of your personal information both online and offline. All credit card transactions are secure. Every on-line order is encrypted and sent through a secure server, using SSL technology to prevent information from being intercepted.

Confidential information such as your credit card number will be used only to fulfill your order. To protect your privacy, we will ask you to enter your credit card number and expiration date each time you place an order with us. This way, even if someone else accesses the account information stored on your computer, they won't be able to use your credit card.

E-mail is not encrypted and is not a secure means to transmit credit card numbers. We will only display the last 4 digits of your credit card number on your account.
